What stories do your scars tell? 

It’s that time of the year again

I always do a self portrait series at the end of March

In many ways

I see this time as my 

“Rebirth” month 

I have many significant memories related to the month of March 

Both happy and sad 

Most of all

For me 

This month signifies 

Love 

Healing

Endings

and New Beginnings 

A month of

Change

A month of 

Completion

A month of 

Reflection

This year

At this time

I reflected on my Scars

My past wounds

Both healed

And those that have yet to heal

I reflected on the path that I’ve chosen 

What matters most to me

What makes me happy

What brings me peace

And the next steps I need to take

In order to maintain peace within my life

This new year 

will be a year of 

Balance

Abundance

Healing

And Love
